Azuregos disembarks the Cruiser at Vermilion City and walks amongst all the other passengers towards the end of the wharf and proceeds into the dock building where he then walks to the left and proceeds towards the small boat transports for new trainers in the region. Azuregos looks in his backpack and pulls out his Loveball and Diveball and places them on his belt before boarding the boat for Pallet Town.
The trip only took 2 hours and when Azuregos disembark the boat he was amazed at how few houses where on the large fields of grass, but the one think that caught his attention was the building with the windmill on the roof at the top of the hill in the town.
Azuregos proceeds through the town watching some kids run around getting chased by a nidoran(F). This caused Azuregos to laugh a bit as he approached the building on the hill and came to the gate at the base of the hill and saw a trainer leaving the building and proceed over to a car, before the trainer started to boast about how he got the only Eevee that the Professor had as his starter.
Azuregos walked past the trainer and up the stairs to the lab's doors which open as he arrives, "Oh hello are you one of the new trainers from a different region," the professor asked Azuregos. "Yes I am, are you Professor Oak," Azuregos asks while shaking the professor's hand. "I sure am, now if you will follow me I'll help you get started on your Pokemon journey," Professor Oak says as he walks back into the lab with Azuregos following.
"Now please select your pokemon you want to start off with, we have Charmander which is the Fire-Type Pokemon, then there is Bulbasaur which is the Grass-Type Pokemon and last we have Squirtle which is the Water-Type Pokemon." Professor Oak says pointing at the pictures of three pokemon, which makes Azuregos think for a bit, "I think I will go with a Charmander, if that's ok Professor Oak," Azuregos says calmly.
Professor Oak nods and leads Azuregos to a room where there are multiple pokeballs split into the three piles, "Ok well select a pokeball from amongst this pile here for your Charmander then, Azuregos, while I go and get you your Pokedex," Professor Oak says as he walks off to get the Pokedex. Azuregos walks over to the pile and picks up a pokeball from the middle of the pile and lets the pokemon out.
A red glow appears before forming into a Charmander however the Charmander doesnft have the usual orange colour instead it has a gold coloured skin which confuses Azuregos for a moment till he remembers that some pokemon can have different colours like his Feebas and that some trainers call them Shiny Pokemon.
The Charmander walks up to Azuregos and starts tapping him on the leg, Azuregos then kneels down in front of the Charmander and rubs the Charmander's head before getting back up as Professor Oak walks back in, "Ok here is your....Wait how did that Charmander get in there," Professor Oak exclaims a bit surprised. "Is something wrong Professor Oak," Azuregos asks a bit confused while glancing between his Charmander and Professor Oak, "No nothing, just wasn't expecting anyone to get the shiny Charmander that was mixed amongst the others...anyway here's your pokedeck and also five pokeballs to start your journey, and I see you also already are carrying already two other pokemon on your belt," Professor Oak says as Azuregos takes the Pokedeck and the five pokeballs before looking at the two pokeballs on his belt, "I will only show you one of them Professor and please don't bug me about the other one," Azuregos says as he withdraws Charmander into his Pokeball and places the pokeball onto his belt before grabbing the Diveball off his belt and releasing his Feebas which lands on the ground and flops like a magikarp, Azuregos bends down picks up his Feebas and pulls out his Pokeblock case from his bag as Professor Oak looks at the Feebas, "Well it looks like you might have a good pokemon to help you along your journey and it's also a shiny you are a very lucky person." Azuregos feeds the Feebas three blue PokeBlocks before replying to Professor Oak, "Thanks Professor Oak," Azuregos says a bit happy, before getting into a bad mood from Professor Oak's next question, "But I must insist can you show me what pokemon you have in the Loveball." Azuregos turns around and starts to leave "Sorry I already told you not to push me on that subject Professor,"
Azuregos leaves Professor Oakfs lab and runs down the stairs with his Feebas still in his arms before proceeding to the outskirts of the town where he sits down to rest and feeds his Feebas another four blue PokeBlocks. He then lets out his Charmander out of its Pokeball before reaching for his Loveball and letting out his Latias also known as Tia.
Tia instantly squeals and starts flying around happily before snuggling up against Azuregos for attention, while Charmander looks at Tia dumbstruck, before making some noise "Char." Tia then flies over to Charmander and starts playing by hitting Charmander on the head causing Charmander to chase Tia around in circles. Azuregos just starts laughing at the situation in front of him while his Feebas watches Charmander and Tia run/fly around.
This goes on for about 10 minutes before Charmander and Tia hear a branch crack and run/fly back over to Azuregos. Azuregos quickly returns Tia to her Loveball with Feebas still on his lap all the while Charmander stands in front of Azuregos and stares at the direction the sound came from.
